A Training Program on Improving Work Relationships and Work Culture

Centre for Capacity Building (CECAB) has organized a training program on Improving Work Relationships and Work Culture, for the managers of financial institutions. The one-day program was held in Hotel Pacific Pvt. Ltd Kathmandu on 11 September 2017 (26 Bhadra 2074) consisting of sixteen participants from different financial institutions of Nepal namely as: Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, Machhapuchre Bank Ltd., Shangrila Development Bank, Dev Bikash Bank, and Goodwill Finance Limited were participated in the training program.

A training program on Improving Work Relationships for Better Results was organized by Centre for Capacity Building (CECAB) for twenty eight Senior Executives and Managers of the United Finance Ltd. on Wednesday 26 July 2017 at Hotel Mulberry, Jyatha, Kathmandu, Nepal.

A Training Program on  Improving Work Relationships and Service Delivery organized for the Traffice Police of Nepal

Centre for Capacity Building (CECAB) has organized a training program on Improving Work Relationships and Service Delivery, exclusively for thirty traffic police of different levels. The program was undertaken in association with the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division of Nepal on 1 July 2017 (17 Asar 2074) in Kathmandu.

The four-fold purpose of the training program was: to make the trainees familiar with the cause and effects of deteriorating work relationships of the traffic police with the service recipients; to develop strategy for improving work relationships with the service recipients; to assess the problems and challenges of effective service delivery in the course of traffic services; and to explore the techniques of service delivery effectiveness in traffic police of Nepal.

Training-cum-Workshop on Managing Stress and Time

Centre for Capacity Building (CECAB) has organized a full day the Training-cum-Workshop on Managing Stress and Time, exclusively for twenty faculty members of the College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Sciences (CBEAS). The program was undertaken at Hotel Pacific Pvt. Ltd., Kantipath, Kathmandu on 21 March 2015.

The main purposes of the training workshop were: to develop conceptual understandings about stress and time management; to enable the participants in identifying and figure out the individual weaknesses and missing of stress and time management from being failure in future career; to enable the participants using techniques and approaches to manage stress and time efficiently and effectively; and to prepare strategic steps for managing stress and time for the future.

The main coverage of the program were: Stress Management: Concepts, Issues and Approach; Techniques and Process of Time Management; and Managing Stress for Mental Balance and Creativity.

As the program was entirely focused on making it more demand-driven in terms of having benefits of the participants, individual quarries of participants were thoroughly discussed and analyzed during the sessions.

At the end of the training workshop, certificates of participation were awarded to the participants and they expressed that eventhough the duration of the program was too short, they got better opportunities to learn many interesting knowledge and skills in stress and time management, which were obviously useful for their practical life and future careers.

Nonetheless, the program was organized first time for the college of this type.

Sharing and Discussions Meeting of Professionals on Current Issues

Centre for Capacity Building (CECAB) has organized a Sharing and Discussions Meeting of Professionals on Current Issues on 21 February 2015 at Hotel Pacific, Kathmandu. The purpose of that high level meeting was to update knowledge and information for individual and collective benefits; and to develop social and professional networking for positive change and development.

The participants in the meeting were senior executives, national planners, high level subject experts and professionals, senior consultants and trainers from government, semi-government and non-government institutions. They were former Chief Election Commissioner, Ex- Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission, Ex-Chief Secretary of the Government, Ex-AIG of Nepal Police, Senior Archeologist of Nepal, Ex-Zonal Commissioner, Professor of Institute of Engineering, Former Senior Director of Nepal Administrative Staff College, Professor of Culture (Tribhuvan University), Chairman of Electricity Tariff Fixations Commission and Centre Chief of CECAB.

Training in Developing Management Strategy and Positive Attitude was organized on 11-12 December 2014 / 25-26 Mangshir 2071 at the Training Hall of Sunrise Bank Ltd., Gairidhara, Kathmandu for twenty branch managers and department managers of Sunrise Bank Limited with full technical and professional support of Center for Capacity Building/CECAB.

The program was organized with the objectives to: excel conceptual understandings about concepts and approaches to management strategy with regard to the financial institutions; develop skills in organizational analysis and management strategy building; enhance skills in developing positive attitude in the work place; impart knowledge and skills in stress management for mental balance of the participant managers; and enable preparing a framework of management strategy development and attitudinal transformation for organizational growth of the bank.

Training-cum-Workshop on Improving Work relationships for Better Results was organized on 4 June 2014 at the Training Hall of Nabil Bank Complex, Kamaladi, Kathmandu for twenty managers of Nabil Bank Limited with full technical and professional support of Center for Capacity Building/CECAB.

The program was organized with a view to synchronize the working behaviors of Nabil Bank staff to improve work relationships in the work organization. The program was the first of this type organized by Nabil Bank Ltd in association with CECAB. The program design and implementation parts of the program were mainly handled by Center for Capacity Building whereas Nabil Bank Ltd entirely managed the financial and logistic support for the same.

CECAB organized two-day Training-cum-Workshop on Managing Interpersonal Conflict for twenty two managers of Sunrise Bank Ltd from 13 to 14 March 2014 at Hotel Pacific Ltd.

The program was organized exclusively for developing conceptual understanding, clarity, awareness and scenario of interpersonal conflict in the context of Sunrise Bank Ltd. Apart from conducting several management training programs by CECAB, this training workshop was organized first time for the Sunrise Bank Ltd.
