With a view to develop conceptual understanding about work relationships; and to asses and analyze the current scenario of work relationships leading to develop strategies for better work relationships and work efficiency, one-day Training-cum-Workshop on Improving Work relationships for Better Results was organized on 4 June 2014 for twenty managers of Nabil Bank Limited with full technical and professional support of Center for Capacity Building/CECAB. The one- day program was undertaken at the Training Hall of Nabil Bank Complex at Kamaladi, Kathmandu with full of interactions and practical exercises. The participants were mainly the managers of corporate office and branch offices of Nabil Bank Ltd.

The training program mainly covered the following topics: conceptual understandings about work relationships; tools and techniques of analyzing work relationships in organization; mapping work relationships in Nabil Bank Ltd; and developing strategies for work relationships for better results in Nabil Bank Ltd.

The training-cum-workshop was undertaken with problem-solving and learner-led approaches, which helped the participants to resolve their individual, groups, and institutional problems and weaknesses with regard to improve work relations.

The group works and group presentations helped to make the program more fruitful in terms of understanding the existing gaps pertaining to the work relationships in the Bank.

Although, the participants felt that the duration of the program was too short, they were fully benefited both from the contents and process of the program. Thus, most of the participants suggested for replication of such programs even for other staff members of the Bank in the future.
