Center for Capacity Building/CECAB organized one-day Training Program on Developing Managerial Skills and Positive Attitude for the managers of different banks and financial institutions from 26-29 September 2012 at Hotel Manaslu Pvt. Ltd.

In order to make the managers different from clerks, the training program was deliberately organized to impart core managerial skills and competency knowledge also with a view to bring attitudinal change among the participants.

The program coverage were mainly as Leadership skills and personality development, Managing Conflict in organization, Change management, Networking skills, Conceptual understanding about positive attitude for better work performance, Art of nurturing positive attitudes through self-revitalization, Managing emotions.

Program was designed to ensure interactive and self-learning approaches with regard to exploit and share Individual experiences of the trainees for developing better understandings in the subject fields. The heterogeneous learning group of the participants belonging to different financial institutions was the another fruitful feature of the training where the participants got better opportunities to learn from each other in different settings.

In the training, participants also developed their individual portfolio project for developing a change intervention program with regard to their own work organizations. The project works practically helped the trainees to bring change in their working process and mechanism.

The program was however, a blending of theoretical inputs and practical learning, which helped to make the training more lively and useful.
